While the MCU-related 1uF caps will work fine with X7R (I'd use the biggest value available in 0603 in order to make up for voltage coefficient) they'll cause some distortion when used in the audio signal path (C18,C19,C104,C107,C108) as X7R has a significant voltage coefficient and is more microphonic than C0G. It should work alright with either cap but if we're trying to get every dB of performance out of the ADC and analog front end then the IMD caused by X7R caps should be avoided. |
| It is good if you find X7R with this capacity... Most often you will find Y5V or Z series. C0G/NPO ends with few nanoFarads. It would be good to have there tantalum. Look at mchf mixer stages: there is 22nF NP0 capacitor - which is hardly reachable.

no, AC9QP wanted to use 1uF with C0G/NP0 dielectric, not X7R or X5R...
