Hi, @Thomas: what types of STM you have in both versions 3.5 and 4"? Are both the same?
I see in the code that during blanking feature waterfall/spectrum refresh is stopped, although not have idea if this would impact the current consumption...

Hi Andreas, I have some suspicion, when the scheduler for waterfall/spectrum is disabled there might be other function (like the s-meter) which takes full core power... I've observed this some time ago after menu was displayed. As said: this is only suspicion...
