can you show the trigger settings?
Does it have the same behavior on EXT trigger?

huh the electolitycs... Worse quality year after year... Check type before replace with the new, can be worse behaviour if not changed to the proper one. Sometimes lower ESR can cause more troubles with stability. Fingers crossed.
I have R&S Spectrum analyzer with Windows XP and this is realy a nightmare (ESL type) sometimes few times power up/down to make it run (RS service gave up asking to buy another one because the repair will be more expensive...) other older from HP works always using own HP system on MC68k, in other hand few MSO-X 3034A having no problem working on Windows too. Anyway the LeCroy is top class, I've seen few huge WaveRunners (with removable display) in R&D of ST in Catania and they claimed that there is noting better but damn expensive

We must accept the long boot up time, the Rigol1104Z with it's linux takes ~23s to boot. Keysight MSO-X 3000 series twice or more...

Im Setup (nur durch Affengriff zu erreichen) kann man die Scope ID einstellen.
Nun ja, ich habe dann mal die ID auf das nächst bessere WaveJet eingestellt.
Es meldet sich nun als WaveJet 322 (vorher 312)
Die Timebase kann ich jetzt bis 2ns einstellen (vorher 5ns) und die Samplerate geht im Einkanal Betrieb bis 2Gs/s (vorher 1Gs/s)

Ob das bei meinem uralten WaveAce 212 auch funktioniert?
