Title: RTC Mod not working properly
Post by: S56FGP on 24. June 2021, 16:48:34
Today I made RTC mod on my MCHF 0.6.3. Clock work fine but two switches M1 and F3 do not work. it seems that on my display (that normally work on SPI) don't have the connection on pin D0 and D1. Maybe I have to wire this two pins D0 and D1 somewhere. Did You have any idea? If you take a look on attached picture you can see that pin D0 and D1 dont 't have solder to the board. No wiring on board to solder.
THX for help Best Regards Aljosa S56FGP |

Hi Aljosa,
PCB revision 0.6.3 is missing all parallel LCD tracks. You have to wire the two buttons directly to the correspondent MCU pins. For reference use schematics of revision 0.4 - 0.6.

Buttons need to be rewired ! The modification is described in detail on the I40 webpage https://www.amateurfunk-sulingen.de/mchf-projekt/modifikationen#start (https://www.amateurfunk-sulingen.de/mchf-projekt/modifikationen#start) More or less at the end of the page and unfortunately in German ( (UI-04/05-N-031) "Aktivieren der STM32 Echtzeituhr" )
