New V6 build here, the DSP (G2) button does not work, I here the beep when I press it, but it does not change the DSP.
Any ideas??

Have you checked in button test if it is only one button detected and it is named as "G2"?

Press (short) the "DSP" icon on the LCD
Press "NR" for a long time (the subtitles will turn black)
Press "AAUTO NOTCH" for a long time (the subtitles will turn black)

Hmmm....
pressing long deactivates (or activates) the posibility of choosing a method by "touching short". If it is deactivated by touching long (visible at the box which is around it) you cannot choose it by accident. If you want to have it back again touch long. I think this is intended - or do you mean something other?

After uploading a new firmware, or in the menu settings, the buttons in DSP turn off.
This is happening.
You need to know where to look for DSP activation. |

I upload EVERY new firmware (of couse) and that never happens here (not on F4 / F7 / H7)... Cannot reproduce.

The wrong beahaviour is caused by change of the eeprom memory map compared to older firmware, thus in newer firmware loading value for DSP modes from uninitialized location of EEPROM. |

I got it working, I reloaded the firmware and all is well. Some quirk for sure.

This can't be a Fluke!!
Every radio that I have loaded new firmware into comes up with the DSP button NOT working!!
Also noticed that the Mode shows up as ??? on the screen, it will not transmit with ??? on the display.
Why should this come up after firmware update??

Hi Chuck,
thank you for your reports! I see that this is reproducible so, this is very good. I will look into this during this week. It is caused by new feature that allows switching on or off particular DSP mode by virtual keypad. There is something wrong in initial default setting which will be fixed. |
